(A) Snow Patrol... Dam good music.

(Q) What club do you Sail for?
(A) I sail for Ireland, my home clubs are Royal Ulster Yacht Club and Ballyholme Yacht Club.

(Q) What has been your career highlight so far?  
(A) London 2012 Olympic Games 

24 Hour Yacht Race set to sail once again

2013 race launched at Coleraine Yacht Club

FOLLOWING the phenomenal success of last year’s 24 Hour Race, Coleraine Yacht Club has today, Saturday 11th May, announced that the unique race will once again become an annual event on the Northern Ireland yachting calendar.

Set to take place this year on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June, the 24 hour race takes place on the River Bann

RYA MEMBERSHIP – what’s it worth?

Membership - a word that typically sparks two reactions in people. When you hear the word do you feel a sense of pride and affiliation to a particular group or organisation close to your heart? Or do you instantly turn off and think ‘more money!’ Over the past 18 months the RYA has been working extremely hard on making sure RYA membership actually does a job for everyone it can do, regardless of someone’s particular interest areas or motivations.

Team RYANI successful at 27th Eric Twiname Regatta

Conor Quinn of Carlingford Lough Yacht Club led the way for the 7 selected sailors from the RYANI Junior Squad who were competing at the 27th Eric Twiname Final against teams from England, Scotland and Wales.
