The event will be run under the burgee of Coleraine Yacht Club on 17th-18th August 2013 from Portrush Harbour.
The programme is currently being planned by Coleraine Borough Council in association with Coleraine Yacht Club and Portrush Yacht and will definitely include cruiser racing and dinghy racing for lasers and rs400s.
Ivan Campbell (Commodore – Coleraine Yacht Club) has been appointed as Race Coordinator. Further details to be advised when confirmed.

This training session will take you through the process of planning a project, identifying funders and making applications. This session guides you through all the stages of an application process. You will look at good and bad applications — what gets funded and what doesn’t. You will learn what to include in an application and how to apply this learning to all future funding applications you make.
Trainer - James Laverty (MInstF)
James is a very experienced funding advice officer, GrantTracker researcher and is in the role of Secretariat for the Northern Ireland Trusts' Group. James Laverty has worked with funders such as Lloyds TSB Foundation, Big Lottery Fund, BBC Children in Need, Coca Cola and Community Foundation NI. He will be able to share his experience of what funders look for and how to make your application reach the top of the pile.
