The process has been developed to help clubs build a secure furture. Northern Ireland’s new quality standard for junior sports clubs.

Sport Northern Ireland is working with a range of governing bodies of sport and Local Authorities (Regional Consortia) to deliver this junior sports club accreditation programme. The programme aims to identify, develop, accredit and recognise high quality junior sports clubs and the contribution that they make to the development of sport in Northern Ireland.

Sport Northern Ireland value the essential and significant role that sports clubs play in the development of sport. Sports clubs make an impact in sports development by providing outlets for participation, while also providing quality environments for talented young athletes to develop. The competitive opportunities offered by clubs are yet another key opportunity for participation and development.
